Who we are

Words Craft ("Words Craft," "we," "us," or "our") provides academic support and clinical/preceptor placement guidance to students. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you submit our general contact form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you're inquiring about, and your message.

If you submit a clinical placement request or a preceptor application, we may additionally collect information relevant to that request, such as your school or practice information, degree or professional title, specialty, clinical hours or availability, location, timeline, licensing state, and any documents you choose to upload (for example, a program handbook or placement form).

If you opt in to SMS communication, we also collect your mobile phone number, your consent, and the time, method, and form through which that consent was given.

We do not knowingly collect information beyond what you voluntarily submit through our forms.

How we use your information, and your consent to be contacted

By submitting any form on this website, you consent to Words Craft contacting you by phone, email, and, where you've separately opted in, text message, regarding your inquiry and the services you've requested. We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, follow up on it, and coordinate the academic support or clinical/preceptor placement services you've requested.

SMS / text messaging program

If you check the SMS opt-in box on our contact form, you agree to receive text messages from Words Craft related to your inquiry, service updates, and placement or coordination updates. This program does not send recurring marketing or promotional messages unless you are separately and explicitly enrolled in a marketing program.

Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and the services you've requested. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can get help at any time by replying HELP or contacting us directly. Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition of purchasing or using any Words Craft service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose.

We retain your phone number and SMS consent record for as long as you remain opted in, and for a reasonable period afterward to document that consent was given and honored, or as otherwise required by law.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate this website, process form submissions, or send SMS messages on our behalf (for example, our hosting, form-submission, or messaging provider), solely for the purpose of providing our services to you. These providers are not permitted to use your information, including SMS opt-in data, for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain the information you submit — including any documents you upload as part of a placement or preceptor request — for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and provide the services you've requested, or as otherwise required by law.

Your rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you, to request corrections, or to request that we delete it, subject to any legal or operational requirements that may limit deletion. You may also opt out of SMS messages at any time as described above.
